Our round-up of the best family-friendly festivals is here and we’ve included a few new additions…we’re already very excited about the start of festival season & the excuse for crazy costumes, all weekend parties, delicious foods & jaw dropping acts brought together to make Summer 2017 sing.

This year we’ve included the capacity, so whether you are after a small intimate affair where the children can have a little freedom or a gigantic pop-up city with something mesmerising around each corner there should be something perfect for your family.

Kicking off the festival season we love Wigfest, a small family-friendly festival in a beautiful Devon setting. It’s really good value for 3 nights of camping and children under 16 are free. They have lots going on in the day to entertain the children as well including free use of bouncy castles all day. Lots of live bands play throughout the day and evening with a silent disco for later in the night.

The theme this year is ‘It’s a knockout ‘, encouraging people to get a team together and take part in fun games throughout the day.

Jess went last year & says.. “We love Wigfest! Last year I was heavily pregnant (2 weeks from popping) and had a marvellous chilled out time keeping all the family happy. It is small enough so I could sit back and watch the other two children run around the field making new friends and enjoying the free bouncy castle, without having to follow them around all day.  They also loved the crockery smashing stall that you paid a small fee for. Some brilliant music, super friendly festival-goers, lovely/ great value food all with beautiful views over the Devon countryside. We will be back this year with the baby!”
