  • Sand Sculpture Festival, Weston-Super-Mare

  • West Somerset Railway – Hestercombe Express

The Express runs every Wednesday between 4th May and 28th September (excluding Wednesday 10th August), and offers a trip on the railway, plus the chance to enjoy the beautiful Hestercombe Gardens.

  • Brean Leisure Park – Saturday 4th June

  • Dunster Castle – Knight School – Tuesday 31st May

For 5 – 8 year olds. Learn all about being a knight – including jousting on wooden hobby horses

Tractor Ted is back! Tractor rides, face painting, animal fun – a great day out!

Join the Minibeast hunt in the Community Garden! From 11am-3pm for a fun session!

  • Roman Baths, Bath – 30th May-3rd June

Explore the animals around the Baths and make a mobile. All included in admission price, no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


  • Puxton Park, Weston-Super-Mare

Hours of fun for the whole family, all year round. Mini golf, Miniature Railway, falconry centre, maze, giant fort – the list goes on! Animals to pet, falconry centre with daily flying display, and don’t miss the special owl encounter.



  • Great Wood, Nether Stowey, Nr. Bridgwater

Enjoy a leisurely stroll, go on a long-distance horse ride or discover the forest by bike.

There are plenty of spots for a family picnic or BBQ, and lots of space for games – a fun day out!


  • Fyne Court, Quantock Hills, Nr. Bridgwater
